Privacy Policy.
Effective date: October 18, 2026
This policy explains how Dual Camera handles information when you use our app and website. It is written in English; if a translation is provided, the English version controls to the extent permitted by law.
1. Overview
Dual Camera is designed to capture photos, videos, and Live Photos using compatible iPhone cameras. We aim to keep your content under your control.
2. Information the app accesses
The app requests only the device permissions needed for the features you choose to use:
- Camera: to preview and capture from the front and rear cameras.
- Microphone: to include synchronized audio in video recordings.
- Photos: to save the capture results you select to your device’s Photos library.
These permissions are controlled by iOS. You can review or change them at any time in your device settings.
3. Your content and local storage
Photos, videos, audio, and capture-related settings are processed on your device for the app’s core functionality. Capture files may be temporarily stored on your device while they are prepared and saved. When you choose to save a result, it is written to your Photos library according to the permissions you grant.
4. Data sharing and sale
Dual Camera does not sell your photos, videos, audio recordings, or other capture content. The app is not designed to upload your capture content to our servers for the core capture and export features.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
We use Apple in-app purchases and RevenueCat to provide and restore Dual Camera Pro. RevenueCat generates an anonymous app user ID and processes purchase history and subscription status, including product identifiers, transaction dates, and receipt information. We use this information to verify purchases, unlock features, prevent fraud, and understand purchase activity in aggregate.
Apple handles payment details. We do not receive your payment card number. We do not use purchase data for cross-app advertising tracking. RevenueCat does not receive the photos, videos, or audio you capture.
Purchase records may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat as needed to provide entitlements, maintain transaction history, and meet legal obligations. For a question or deletion request about data we control, contact support@kellyli.cc. Deleting a RevenueCat record may require restoring purchases to regain Pro access.
6. Website information
Our website may process limited technical information that a browser normally sends to a website host, such as IP address, device or browser information, and request logs, to deliver and protect the site. If you email support, we receive the information you include in your message and use it to respond to your request.
7. Retention and deletion
You control the photos and videos saved to your Photos library and can delete them there. You can remove the app from your device to remove its local app data, subject to iOS behavior and any files you have already saved elsewhere. Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably needed to address the inquiry and maintain support records.
8. Children’s privacy
Dual Camera is not directed to children under the age at which parental consent is required in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app or applicable requirements change. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date.
